Booking your first PT session is usually the hardest part — harder than the session itself. If you're picturing something intimidating, here's the honest version of what actually happens when you walk into Adapt Fitness for session one.
Before you arrive
You don't need to "get fit before you get fit." Come as you are, in whatever activewear is comfortable and shoes you can move in. Bring water and, if you've got them, any notes on injuries or things you want to be mindful of.
What we'll actually do
The first session is mostly a conversation with some movement built in. We'll talk through:
- What you want out of training — strength, energy, a specific goal, or just feeling better day to day.
- Where you're starting from — no assumptions, no judgement, just an honest baseline.
- What's worked (or hasn't) for you before — so we're not repeating anything that didn't stick.
From there, we'll move through some simple, low-pressure exercises so I can see how you move and where to focus. It's not a test — there's no pass or fail.
Why there's no judgement — ever
Get Fit with Chloe exists for people who feel intimidated by "typical" gym culture just as much as for people who already train. Adapt Fitness 24/7 is a quiet, unmanned space, and sessions are built around meeting you exactly where you are.
After the session
You'll leave with a clear idea of what a normal week of training with me looks like, and we'll book in your next session before you go. That's it — no hard sell, no pressure to sign up for anything you're not ready for.
